Berkeley UAEM held a successful strategy meeting Monday night, which was facilitated by Berkeley Prof. Ahmed. The small core group of active students at Berkeley showed up to join the discussion, as well as UAEM co-founder Samantha Chaifetz, who was in town to give a lecture.

We were able to define a pyramid of goals, working from the overarching goal of getting the university to actively use its resources to better global health to more specific goals such as raising awareness and activism in the scientific community here at the university.
